In order to capture a more modern audience of parents looking to buy a swing set for their child, I needed to differentiate this brand’s image from the log cabin inspired look of the competition. Inspired by the playful Y2K attitude of Tamagotchi and Jet Set Radio, I strived to develop a mark that was playful and zany, while still communicating modernity and safety. The logo also doubles as the brand’s mascot, where the waving “hands” of the logo change to ears of the character. While the logo remains professional, secondary branding material gives me the opportunity to push the attitude of the brand more.
