When tasked to design a menu for a late night 21+ downtown burger joint, the perfect mix between attitude and readability is required to appetize inebriated customers after a night at a loud concert. Inspired by the fluidity and hierarchy seen in the menu design of Super Smash Brothers and the modern dingy interior design of Nashville’s Jack Browns, I wanted to play with asymmetry, organic borders, and hand-lettered headlines, to convey a more adult, downtown burger joint.
